On 14 August 2026, the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima organized a volunteer public service and charitable activity in honour of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, on the occasion of Her Majesty’s birthday anniversary and Thailand’s National Mother’s Day on 12 August 2026. The activity was held at the “CAR Virgen del Carmen” Home for the Elderly, a care facility for senior citizens, under the National Comprehensive Program for Family Welfare (INABIF) of the Ministry of Women and Vulnerable Populations in Peru, currently accommodating 40 residents.

 

On this occasion, Ms. Ek-on Khunacharoen, Ambassador of Thailand to Lima, led the Embassy officials, spouses, and staff in donating essential supplies to the elderly, including adult diapers, wet wipes, body lotion, and shampoo. The activity was organized to contribute to the public good and to make merit in dedication to Her Majesty on this auspicious occasion.
