On 28 September 2023, His Excellency Pisanu Sobhon, Ambassador of Thailand to Peru, hosted a dinner in honour of the Thai sports delegation from the Sports Association for the Disabled of Thailand Under the Royal Pratonage at the Royal Thai Embassy.

The delegation visited Lima during 21 – 29 September 2023 to take part in the World Shooting Para Sport 2023. Their exceptional performances resulted in two more shooters earning their qualification for the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games and the team winning a silver medal in the R5 Mixed 10m Air Rifle prone SH2 event.
