On May 15, 2026, Mr. Kasem Sailuenam, Chargé d'Affaires a.i, presented a grant to Ms. Herlinda Gonzalez Garcia de Malatesta, Director of the Gopesvara Arts Institute in Peru, to support the cultural activities in collaboration with the Royal Thai Embassy. The performing arts troupe from the Gopesvara Arts Institute has played a significant role in working with the Royal Thai Embassy to promote Thai culture to the Peruvian public. In the past, they have regularly performed Thai dances such as the "Fhon Sao Mai" (silk dance), "Serng Kratip" (basket dance), "Ram Dok Bua" (lotus dance), and "Ram Kiao Khao" (rice harvesting dance) for the Peruvian audiences on numerous occasions.
