On 16 July 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima hosted the Celebration of the 60th Anniversary of Thai-Peruvian Diplomatic Relations in 2025 at El Olivar Cultural Center, Sani Isidro. On this occasion, Mr. Threetep Nopkhun, Chargé d'affaires a.i. and Mr. Marco Flores Tijero, Municipal Management Advisor of the Municipality of San Isidro, presided over the opening ceremony. During this auspicious event, the Royal Thai Embassy and the Municipality of San Isidro had organized the Thai dance and Muay Thai performances. After the opening ceremony, the Embassy had organized workshops teaching Thai dance and Muay Thai to the general public. The event has attracted great attention of around 70 Peruvian citizens.
