On 16 December 2024, H.E. Mr. Pisanu Sobhon, Ambassador of Thailand to Peru, presided over the premier movie “LAHN MAH” which tells the story of a family of mostly Thai-Chinese people at the movie theater Cineplanet in Lima. For this event, the Royal Thai Embassy has invited diplomatic corps, representatives of the Peruvian public and private sector, the Thai community and Thai film fans in Peru of 80 people to attend the event. The activity is part of the Embassy’s project to promote creative industries under Thailand’s Soft Power Strategy of the government. This activity is one of the kickstart project to celebrate the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Thailand and Peru in 2025.
