On 5 November 2020, H.E. Mr. Sorayut Chasombat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Peru, concurrently accredited to the Republic of Ecuador, presented the copy of the Letters of Credence to H.E. Mr. Luis Gallegos Chiriboga, Minister of External Relations and Human Mobility of the Republic of Ecuador, via Zoom Video Conference.

Apart from Peru, the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima is also concurrently accredited to Ecuador, Bolivia, Colombia and Venezuela.
