On 21 August 2023, at the headquarter of the National Commission for Development and Life without Drugs or DEVIDA, H.E. Mr. Pisanu Sobhon, Ambassador of Thailand to Peru,co-chaired the opening ceremony of the Workshop on Sharing Experiences: Reflections, Conclusions and Commitments derived from the technical visit to Chazuta, Peru of Dr. Thidarat Duangyod and Dr. Tharakorn Maneerat, two Thai experts in traditional medicinal plants from Mae Fah Luang University, during 17 – 20 August 2566

On this occasion, Ambassador Sobhon met with Honorable Mr. Carlos Antonio Figueroa Henostroza, Executive President of DEVIDA. Both sides welcomed the outcome of the Thai experts’ technical visit to Chazuta and agreed to work together to move forward the existing alternative development cooperation programme under the Action Plan of Development Cooperation Programme between Thailand and Peru for the tangible benefits of both countries and peoples.
