APPLYING FOR A VISA AT THE ROYAL THAI EMBASSY IN LIMA

              Due to the current high demand of visa applications, the Royal Thai Embassy has established a new standard operation procedure for those who wish to apply for a Thai visa in Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela, starting from 12 September 2022,as follows:

 

1. APPLYING IN-PERSON

Applicants who wish to apply for a visa at the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima in person should proceed as follows:

 

(a) Prepare all required documents for each visa type/category. Applicants can find out which visa type/category suits best with the purpose of his/her visit as well as the list of required documents for each visa type/category in Visa Types.

 

(b) Make an appointment with the Embassy here. The Embassy will confirm your appoiniement in the system in due course. For more information, please contact the Embassy by e-mail [email protected] or call +51 1 6375620 – 1 ext. 101, 106 and/or 114. 

 

(c) Visit to the Embassy to submit the visa application together with the passport, required documents and the payment for visa processing fee in cash.

 

(c) Upon submission, the Embassy’s staff will initially review each application and provide further recommendations to each applicant (if needed). Each visa application should be processed successfully within 3 - 5 working days provided that all the requirements are satisfied. Applicants will be notified when their visa application is complete though the email they have provided.

 

2. APPLYING BY POST

(*Important note: Applicants who apply by post are highly suggested to start the visa application process at least 1 month ahead of their departure)

 

Applicants who wish to apply for a visa with the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima by postal/courier service, especially those who reside in Provincial area of Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador and Venezuela, MUST apply through an eligible visa processing service company in their respective country of residence, as follows:
