On 26 June 2025, the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima hosted the Celebration of the 60^th Anniversary of Thai-Peruvian Diplomatic Relations in 2025.  On this occasion, Mr. Threetep Nopkhun, Chargé d'affaires a.i. and Mr. Rubén Cano Altez, Mayor of the Municipality of La Victoria, presided over the opening ceremony.  During this auspicious event, the Royal Thai Embassy and the Municipality of La Victoria had organized the Thai dance, Muay Thai performances, and Peruvian dance.  After the opening ceremony, the Embassy had organized workshops teaching Thai dance and Muay Thai to the general public for the first time. The event has attracted great attention of around 100 Peruvian citizens.
