Main duties and responsibilities

1.- Studying and analyzing a market situation of selected potential products/services and submitting market reports on those selected products/services which include proposing strategies, plans of action, and marketing activities to promote those potential products and services in the Peru market.

2.- Preparing news / hot issues related to Peru’s trade, economy, market, consumer behaviors, laws, measures, political situations, etc.

3.- Reporting the visit of local businesses such as importers, and distributors, concerning government sectors, associations, and investors in the area that would be useful for promoting the trade and investment between Thailand and Peru.

4.- Give advice/recommendations to Thai entrepreneurs or Peruvian agencies or the Office of Commercial Affairs, Santiago.

5.- Preparing a country profile of Peru consisting of fundamental economic figures and forecast for the economic situation vis-à-vis Thailand’s trade and investment

6.- Providing investment information, opportunity, policy, and regulation in the Peru market.

7.- Creating a database on a List of Importers/ sources of Raw Materials / Trade-related agencies or Institutions

8.- Invite Peruvian importers to participate in the OBM/fair/trade promotion activity organized by the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand

9.- Providing advice on marketing in Perú through an online seminar held by the Department of International Trade Promotion, Ministry of Commerce, Thailand 

10.- Reporting the result of the work/ Performance Report on monthly basis.

Qualifications for Position

• Open to All Interested Candidates– Anyone with Peruvian Citizenship or Permanent Residency may apply.
• Educational qualification: not less than a bachelor’s degree or equivalent. Economics or Business Management or related fields.
• Good command of language: communicating, speaking, reading, and writing in English.
• Good relationships with public, private, and government agencies.
• Ability to invite Peruvian trade delegations to trade fairs in Thailand and to organize business matching or online business matching.
