On 13 July 2023 at 16.30 hours, His Excellency Mr. Pisanu Sobhon presented the Credential Letters to Her Excellency Mrs. Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra, President of the Republic of Peru, at the Government Palace, with the presence of Her Excellency Ana Cecilia Gervasi Díaz, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru, and officially assumed the functions of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Peru.

On this occasion, His Excellency Ambassador Sobhon had a private meeting with Her Excellency the President of the Republic of Peru and Her Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru. During the meeting, both sides agreed to continue working closely together to further strengthen cooperation in all dimensions, especially in technical cooperation, trade and investment promotion, and mutual support in multilateral fora such as APEC, ASEAN and the Pacific Alliance.
