On 3 August 2025, Mr. Threetep Nopkhun, Chargé d' Affaires a.i. co-host the opening ceremony of the introduction to Thai Language and Culture Online Course 2025, organized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Lima, in collaboration with Chula’s Academic Service Center of Arts and Center for Thai as a Foreign Language, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University. The course has been organized with the aim to promote Thai language and culture classes as well as food, traditional culture and Thai entertainment industry for Latin American people. The course will be held from 3 August - 11 September 2025 and has received great interest from people in Peru, Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela.
