Chargé d’Affaires attended the President of the Republic of Peru’s Annual Greeting with the Diplomatic Corps at the Presidential Palace

On 9 February 2026, Mr. Kasem Sailuenam, Chargé d’Affaires a.i., attended the annual greeting of H.E. Mr. José Jerí, President of the Republic of Peru with the diplomatic corps at the Presidential Palace. The event was also attended by H.E. Mr. Ernesto Álvarez Miranda, Prime Minister of the Republic of Peru, H.E. Mr. Hugo de Zela, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Peru, members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives of international organizations.

On this occasion, the President of the Republic of Peru underscored the government’s key priorities, including strengthening public security and maintaining economic stability. The President also addressed shared regional and global challenges, including transnational crime, drug trafficking, climate change, and reaffirmed Peru’s readiness to welcome foreign investment and promote international economic.
