Entry Measures into Thailand by Air Travel (From 1 June 2022 onward)

 

1. Thai nationals

    1.1 From 1 June 2022, Thai nationals are no longer required to register on the Thailand Pass system. They are able to travel to Thailand normally without having to be in quarantine nor taking the COVID-19 test upon arrival.

    1.2 Nevertheless, upon checking-in with the airline at the country of origin, Thai nationals are still required to present one of these documents: (1) proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination or
(2) if unvaccinated/not fully vaccinated – a negative RT-PCR or professional antigen COVID-19 test result done within 72 hours before departure from the country of origin.

 

2. Foreign nationals

    Foreign nationals who wish to travel to Thailand are still required to register on the Thailand Pass system (https://tp.consular.go.th/). The system will generate the QR Code within 1-2 hours after registration. This QR Code will be available for one-time usage and only within 72 hours (or three days) after the date indicated on the QR Code. Required documents in the registration process are:

    2.1 For fully vaccinated persons attach in the system (1) passport copy (2) proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination and (3) proof of insurance with at least 10,000 USD coverage for medical treatments in Thailand

    2.2 For unvaccinated persons attach in the system (1) passport copy (2) a negative RT-PCR or professional antigen COVID-19 test result done within 72 hours before departure from the country of origin and (3) proof of insurance with at least 10,000 USD coverage for medical treatments in Thailand
