  1. Important notes

2.1 International travelers who enter Thailand between 29 April-5 May 2021 whose Certificate of Entry is approved by 30 April 2021 are still able to attend

               (1) A 7-day quarantine : In case they have official covid-19 vaccination certificate (complete dose(s) from Pfizer-BioNtech, AstraZeneca, Serum Institute of India, Sinovac or Johnson & Johnson and are not traveling from countries with the new covid-19 variants as designated by the Ministry of Health (which are South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Botswana, Zambia, Kenya, Rwanda, Cameroon, DR Congo, Ghana and Tanzania).

                (2) A 10-day quarantine : In case they are not traveling from countries with the new covid-19 variants as designated by the Ministry of Health and do not have official covid-19 vaccination certificate.

                (3) A 14-day quarantine : In case they are traveling from ountries with the new covid-19 variants as designated by the Ministry of Health

2.2 International travelers who enter Thailand between 1-5 May 2021 will have to attend a 14-day quarantine if their Certificate of Entry is approved after 30 April 2021.

2.3 International travelers who enter Thailand from 6 May 2021 onward will have to attend a 14-day *without any exceptions*

2.4 (For Thais) The Fit-to-Fly certificate is no longer required. However, it is highly suggested for Thai travelers to carefully study the current requirements of their respective airlines and airports (in case of transit) since some airlines/airports may still request additional documents (e.g., COVID-19 Negative PCR Test Result). Thai travelers must comply with those conditions in order to prevent any complications during their trip to Thailand.

2.5 (For foreigners) The Fit-to-Fly certificate is no longer required, but the COVID-19 Negative PCR test result of 72 hours before boarding is still obligatory.

2.6 (For foreigners) It is suggested that foreign travelers are insured under insurance coverage(s) provided by registered insurance companies in Thailand and approved by the Office of Insurance Commission. The coverage should also include COVID-19 asymptomatic treatment.

2.7 All travelers are recommended to download and register the “ThailandPlus” application (available in App Store, Play Store and Huawei App Gallery) starting their journey in order to promote a more efficient screening system at the airport, and for contract tracing purpose.
